एक दन्त दयावन्त चार भुजा धारी । माथे पर सिन्दूर सोहे मूसे की सवारी ॥

पान चढ़े फूल चढ़े और चढ़े मेवा । लड्डुअन का भोग लगे सन्त करें सेवा ॥

अंधन को आँख देत कोढ़िन को काया । बाँझन को पुत्र देत निर्धन को माया ॥
5
सूर श्याम शरण आए सफल कीजे सेवा । जय गणेश जय गणेश जय गणेश देवा ॥
6
दीनन की लाज राखो, शम्भु सुतवारी । कामना को पूर्ण कर, जाऊं बलिहारी ॥

Meaning & Translation

Verse 1
Hail to Lord Ganesha, Hail to Lord Ganesha, Hail to the divine Ganesha. His mother is Parvati, and his father is Lord Mahadeva (Shiva).
Verse 2
He has one tusk, is compassionate, and has four arms. Vermilion adorns his forehead, and he rides a mouse (his vehicle).
Verse 3
Betel leaves are offered, flowers are offered, and dry fruits are offered. Laddus are offered as food, and saints perform his service.
Verse 4
He grants sight to the blind, and a healthy body to the leper. He bestows sons to the barren, and wealth to the poor.
Verse 5
The devotee Sur Shyam has come to your refuge, make his service fruitful. Hail to Lord Ganesha, Hail to Lord Ganesha, Hail to the divine Ganesha.
Verse 6
Protect the honor of the poor, O son of Shambhu (Lord Shiva). Fulfill my desires, I sacrifice myself to you.
