अपवित्र पवित्रो वा सर्वावस्थाङ्गतोऽपि वा । यः स्मरेत् पुण्डरीकाक्षं स बाह्याभ्यन्तरः शुचिः ॥

नारायणं पद्मभवं वशिष्ठं शक्तिञ्च तत्पुत्र पराशरञ्च । व्यासं शुकं गौडपदं महान्तं गोविन्दयोगीन्द्रमथास्य शिष्यम् ॥

श्री शङ्कराचार्यमथास्य पद्मपादञ्च हस्तामलकञ्च शिष्यम् । तं त्रोटकं वार्तिककारमन्यान् अस्मद् गुरुं सन्ततमानतोस्मि ॥

श्रुति-स्मृति-पुराणानां आलयं करुणालयम् । नमामि भगवत्पादं शङ्करं लोकशङ्करम् ॥

लोकाज्ञान-पयोद-पाटन-धुरं श्री शङ्करं शर्मदम् । ब्रह्मानन्द सरस्वतीं गुरुवरं ध्यायामि ज्योतिर्मयम् ॥

आवाहनं समर्पयामि श्री गुरुचरण-कमलेभ्यो नमः । आसनं समर्पयामि श्री गुरुचरण-कमलेभ्यो नमः ।

अखण्डमण्डलाकारं व्याप्तं येन चराचरम् । तत्पदं दर्शितं येन तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥

श्री ब्रह्मानन्दं परमसुखदं केवलं ज्ञानमूर्तिम् । विश्वातीतं गगनसदृशं तत्त्वमस्यादि-लक्ष्यम् ॥

एकं नित्यं विमलमचलं सर्वधीसाक्षिभूतम् । भावातीतं त्रिगुणसहितं सद्गुरुं तं नमामि ॥

अज्ञानतिमिरान्धस्य ज्ञानाञ्जनशलाकया । चक्षुरुन्मीलितं येन तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः ॥

Meaning & Translation
Verse 1
Om, Om, Om, Om, Om, Om. I bow to the lineage of Gurus, beginning with Lord Sadashiva, with Adi Shankaracharya in the middle, and extending up to my own revered Guru.
Verse 2
Whether impure or pure, or having passed through all conditions, whoever remembers the lotus-eyed Lord (Vishnu), becomes pure externally and internally.
Verse 3
I invoke Narayana, Brahma (Padmabhava), Vasishtha, Shakti, and his son Parashara; Vyasa, Shuka, the great Gaudapada, and Govinda Yogindra, his disciple.
Verse 4
And Sri Shankaracharya, and his disciples Padmapada, Hastamalaka, Totaka, and the Vartikakara (Sureshwaracharya), and other Gurus, I constantly bow to them.
Verse 5
I bow to Bhagavatpada Shankara, the abode of Shrutis, Smritis, and Puranas, the abode of compassion, who brings welfare to the world.
Verse 6
I repeatedly bow to the divine Shankara (Shankaracharya) and Keshav (Badarayana Vyasa), the authors of the Sutra Bhashyas (commentaries on the Brahma Sutras).

At whose door the entire assembly of gods constantly attains perfection, having bowed to that glorious and resplendent seat of the Jagadguru, they attain self-satisfaction.

I meditate on the luminous Guruvar Brahmananda Saraswati, who is adept at dispelling the clouds of worldly ignorance, and who is the benevolent Sri Shankara.

(Flower offering) The Guru is Brahma, the Guru is Vishnu, the Guru is Lord Maheshwara (Shiva). The Guru is verily the Supreme Brahman. Salutations to that revered Guru.

Salutations to that revered Guru who has revealed the truth (that supreme state) which pervades the entire unbroken cosmic sphere, including all animate and inanimate beings.

I bow to the revered Guru, who is the bliss of Brahman, the giver of supreme happiness, the embodiment of pure knowledge, beyond the universe, vast like the sky, and the ultimate goal indicated by 'Tat Tvam Asi' (Thou art That).

I bow to that Sadguru (true Guru) who is one, eternal, pure, unmoving, the witness of all intellects, beyond all states of being, and yet associated with the three Gunas (qualities of nature).

Salutations to that revered Guru who has opened the eyes of one blinded by the darkness of ignorance with the collyrium stick of knowledge.
