ଏକଦନ୍ତ ଦୟାବନ୍ତ, ଚତୁର୍ଭୁଜଧାରୀ। ମସ୍ତକେ ସିନ୍ଦୂର ଶୋହେ, ମୂଷିକ ସୁଆରୀ॥

ପାନ ଚଢ଼େ, ଫୁଲ ଚଢ଼େ, ଆଉ ଚଢ଼େ ମିଠା। ଲଡୁର ଭୋଗ ଲାଗେ, ସନ୍ତ କରନ୍ତି ସେବା॥

ଅନ୍ଧକୁ ଆଖି ଦିଅନ୍ତି, କୁଷ୍ଠୀକୁ କାୟା। ବାଞ୍ଝକୁ ପୁତ୍ର ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ନିର୍ଧନକୁ ମାୟା॥

ଦୀନନ କି ଲାଜ ରାଖୋ, ଶମ୍ଭୁସୁତ ବାରୀ। ଜୟ ଗଣେଶ, ଜୟ ଗଣେଶ, ଜୟ ଗଣେଶ ଦେବା॥

Meaning & Translation

Verse 1
Hail Ganesha, Hail Ganesha, Hail Lord Ganesha. Whose mother is Parvati, and father is Mahadeva.
Verse 2
One-tusked, compassionate, with four arms. Sindoor shines on his forehead, he rides a mouse.
Verse 3
Betel leaves are offered, flowers are offered, and sweets are offered. Laddus are offered as prasad, saints perform service.
Verse 4
To the blind he gives eyes, to the leper a body (health). To the barren he gives a son, to the poor he gives wealth.
Verse 5
Protect the honor of the humble, O beloved son of Shiva. Hail Ganesha, Hail Ganesha, Hail Lord Ganesha.
