Om, O four-armed Jagannath, whose neck is adorned with the Kaustubha gem, O one who is the essence of the Vedas, whose eyes are the moon and sun.

Jagannath, Lord of the world, friend of the distressed, ocean of compassion, protector, holder of the discus and lotus, pervading the world, omnipresent, Lord of gods, king of kings, eternal Purushottama.
